Rosemary
Rosemary contains: Vitamin A, C, B6 as well as magnesium, calcium, iron, copper, and manganese
Use: Can Help Prevent Allergies and Nasal Congestion
This substance has been shown to suppress allergic responses and nasal congestion. The number of immune cells in nasal mucus also decreased, with reduced congestion.
Rosemary also prevents fluid buildup in the lungs, and prevents the phlegm and mucus from the respiratory system
Garlic
Throughout ancient history, garlic has been known as the original antibiotic.
We now know that most of these health effects are due to a compound called allicin, which is also responsible for garlic's distinct smell.
Garlic supplementation is well known for combatting sickness such as the common cold.
If you often get sick, then adding more garlic to your diet can be incredibly helpful.
Cinnamon
Cinnamon contains protective antioxidants that reduce free radical damage. It can improve sensitivity to the hormone insulin, which helps transport sugar from the bloodstream to the tissues to keep blood sugar levels balanced.
It also slows down the absorption of sugar in the bloodstream after a high-carb meal.
Remember to always eat your vitamins over taking supplements, and stay healthy,
XOXO,
Alison
